All Sureshield solutions go through a series of tests before, during, and after production to ensure superior quality. To determine its efficacy against odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi, Sureshield coatings are tested in world-class microbiology laboratories.

JIS2801k / ISO22196:2007

Sureshield antimicrobial treatments are tested using JIS2801 / ISO22196:2007 standards to quantitatevely measure antibacterial activity on the treated material.

Time testing

Sureshield products contain quick-action and long-lasting antimicrobial compounds to inhibit the growth of odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi. The following chart demonstrates the effectiveness of Sureshield during the first 24 hours of contact with a microorganism. After 24 hours, the number of living microorganisms on the Sureshield coated metal are immeasurable by standard laboratory equipment, while the number of microorganisms still living on the untreated coated metal have risen substantially under the same conditions.

ASTM D4300-98

Sureshield antimicrobial treatments are also tested using ASTM D4300-98 standards to qualitatively measure antifungal activity on the treated material.
