Plastic and Rubber

For most polymeric materials, building in antimicrobial protection is as simple as adding a compounded plastic into the master batch prior to extrusion or molding. Sureshield treated pellets are available as a universal carrier or in resin-specific form. Sureshield pellets become part of the overall plastic or rubber and do not affect color or physical properties. Sureshield pellets are treated with an antimicrobial additive. When added to the resin, they provide built-in protection from the growth of odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi on the plastic.

There are many benefits to Sureshield-treated pellets:

  • Works in any type of plastic or rubber

  • Easy to apply

  • No change in physical properties of native pellets

  • Durable

  • Colorless or tinted

  • Antimicrobial

Sureshield treated pellets are environmentally friendly, easy-to-use, and work in any type of resin, including, but not limited to:

Coatings for plastic and rubber

Should you prefer, or need, to add a treatment to your plastic or rubber after you mold or extrude it, Sureshield treatments for coatings are the answer. Available in liquid or powder form, Sureshield is designed for use in coatings that can be applied to various plastic resins to inhibit the growth of odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi on the coating.
