How do antimicrobials work?

When microorganisms appear on the surface of the treated material, antimicrobial compounds make contact with them and disrupt the microorganisms' attempts to live and remain comfortable. Instead of continuing to grow, the microorganisms will not grow, and after a short period of time, the microorganisms can no longer be measured by standard laboratory equipment.

How long will it last?

Sureshield is designed to last the life of the product it is applied to so long as it is not physically or chemically abraded.

Why should I use Sureshield?

Sureshield promotes freshness by attacking the very source of a universal problem: odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi on the treated material. Can I use Sureshield at home?

Sureshield is designed to be applied by manufacturers. While there is no consumer-applied version of Sureshield, many consumer goods are available with Sureshield built in.

Sureshield runs an exhaustive testing protocol on everything made. From efficacy testing to physical and aesthetic testing, Sureshield runs JIS, ISO, ASTM, and other industry standard tests.
